New Gym, Virgilio Highschool, Rome

education / gym / public-admin / restructuring

Virgilio Highschool in Rome is located along the Tiber River in Via Giulia. The building is a powerful illustration of the entangling of architecture and art, combining both the façade of the Collegio Ghislieri dating back to the 16th century, a work by Maderno, and the spectacular apse of the Church of the Holy Spirit of the Neapolitans visible from the schoolyard.

Studio Saponetti was involved in restructuring and expanding the gym located in the basement, adding its personal touch to a more welcoming, colorful and bright environment, answering the needs of students and teachers alike.
